I need images but I don’t know exactly what images, can you help me?

I certainly can!  When we have our initial chat on the phone, you will tell me all about your business, your story and what you’re hoping the pictures will convey to your ideal client.  I will give you some ideas too and I will create a mood board

 

What sort of businesses do you work with?

Who don’t I work with…  I have photographed, executive coaches, artists, social media managers, personal trainers, yoga and pilates instructors, gyms, health studios, doulas, wellness experts, fashion influencers, stylists, hairdressers, makeup artists, creatives of all genres.  So bring it on, whoever you are and whatever you do, I’d love to create some imager with you.

 

Do you just take headshots?

Within your personal branding session, I will make sure I get some images of you that you will be able to use for headshots, but the session is really about more than that.  It’s about creating a visual representation of your story and brand.  Most images will be story telling environmental portraits.

 

How far in advance should I book you?

I would recommend that you book me at least 1-2 months in advance of when you think you’ll need your branded photos, just to avoid disappointment. Of course, if you’ve got a rush deadline, please feel free to email me so I can see if there’s a way to squeeze you into my schedule.

I release shoot openings up to me email list first so sign yourself up to my newsletter for first dibs on those sessions, so make sure you are signed up to the newsletter.

 

What do I need to bring to my photo shoot?

All you really need to bring is your outfits, props and accessories, and of course, you!

While we generally recommend you bring 5 outfits to your photo shoot, the more choices you have, the better!  But don't worry! We'll discuss all of this in detail before your shoot.  

I will give you some ideas on props and outfits that will work well with your branding during our consultation.

There will also be ideas in the Photoshoot magazine that I will send you on booking.

 

I have no idea what to wear!  Will you help me with that?

Absolutely, as part of our initial consultation I will give you some ideas as to what to bring along by way of outfits.  We can also take inspiration from the Pinterest board I will provide you with.

I will also send you a magazine on booking which will give you some more ideas as to what works well in front of the camera.

In addition to that I include outfit and prop suggestions in my newsletter, so make sure you are signed up to that.

 

How long will my photo shoot take?

My standard package is a two hour shoot.  That’s the minimum I’ve found that will work well for you and give you a good range of outfits and location changes.  If you want extra locations or set ups then it would be wise to book extra time.  We can discuss this during your phone consultation.

Do you cover makeup and hairstyling?

Make up and hairstyling is an add on to the session.  I would recommend you do have professional hair and make up.  I have an incredible team of go-to makeup artists and hairstylists that will take total care of you the day of your photo shoot.  However if you prefer to do your hair and makeup yourself or get your own stylist to do it that is also absolutely fine.  I will make a few recommendations to you if you are not using one of my team.

 

How many “looks” or wardrobe changes do I get?

You’re guaranteed three – four looks during your session.  This is an "estimate" dependent on how we structure the photoshoot but I always do my best to give you as much variety as possible during your shoot.  

 

Can I have my pictures taken outdoors?

Of course! I’m happy to discuss alternative locations for your shoot during the planning stage. Whether you’re interested in having your photos taken  in town, at a local coffee shop, in your kitchen or in the countryside, my goal is always to give you portraits that represent your brand authentically.

 

How many images do I get?

You will get 40 edited images from the session.  I will select the rage of images for you ensuring a good spread from the different looks and locations so you have plenty to choose from. 

 

What’s your cancellation policy?

I take a non-refundable deposit in advance and am happy to reschedule photo shoots if I have at least 48-hour notice.

 

Can I get a refund if I don’t like my pictures?

Unfortunately, I can’t offer refunds. The good news is: I’ve never been asked for a refund, because I’m absolutely committed to getting you the photographs you want during our time together.

 

How do I pay for my photo session?

You pay a deposit to book your spot and pay the remaining after your photoshoot but before the release of the images.  Payment by Bank transfer.

 

How soon after the shoot do I get my photos?

I always aim to have your edited images to you two weeks after the shoot.  If you need the edit processed quicker, I will usually be able to do that for a speed editing fee.

 

Will you travel?

Due to my commitments as a mother, I work mainly in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire.  However, if you are slightly further afield let’s talk about it and I will try to make it work.
